The Program Committee thanks Renee Fetters and Kym Parr (Cleveland Metroparks Zoo) for assistance with the compilation of the 2001 Program. We also thank Nancy Capitanio for developing the computer program that allowed us to have on-line registration, on-line abstract submission and computer generated conference reports.
MEETING ROOMS

The conference will take place at Armstrong Atlantic State University, 11935 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA. Keynote and Featured Presenters will speak in the Auditorium of the Fine Arts Building. All concurrent oral paper sessions, workshops, symposia and roundtables will be held in University Hall (adjacent to the Fine Arts Building Auditorium) in Rooms 156, 157, 158. The Icebreaker and two evening poster sessions will be held in the Memorial College Center. There will be hors d’oeuvres and cash bar at both poster sessions and the icebreaker.

REGISTRATION
The table for registration and information (questions, help, messages, etc.) will be located in the University Hall. The registration area will be open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, August 8th, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Thursday and Friday, August 9 and 10 and 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM Saturday, August 11th.
EXHIBITS, VENDORS AND CONSERVATION SILENT AUCTION
Exhibits, vendors and items donated for the Conservation Committee’s Silent Auction will be displayed in Room 121 of University Hall. Exhibits can be set up between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Wednesday, August 8th. Please visit and support the exhibitors and sponsors. Exhibitors include:

Speakers may preview slides in the slide preparation room located in University Hall.
POSTER SET-UP
Individuals presenting posters can set up their poster presentations in the Memorial College Center between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM the assigned day of their poster session. Authors are encouraged to set posters up early and leave them up for the entire day. Poster sessions will be held between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM on Thursday, August 9th and Friday, August 10th. Authors should remove their posters immediately following the sessions. There will be hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar available during the poster sessions.
BANQUET
The final banquet ending the conference will be held Saturday, August 11th at 7:00 PM at the Savannah Station. Buses will leave Armstrong Atlantic State University at 6:00 PM. Return buses from Savannah Station to AASU will run at 10:00 PM, 11:00 PM and 12:00 Midnight. Dining will be a Low Country Boil and Bar-B-Q.
2000 STUDENT COMPETITION WINNERS

The American Society of Primatologists proudly acknowledges the winners of the 2000 Student Paper and Poster Competition, Kimran Miller and Yvonne Searcy.

Oral Paper

K. Miller and J. Dietz. University of Maryland. Factors affecting variation in daily food intake by wild golden lion tamarins (Leontopithecus rosalia).

Poster

Y. Searcy and N. Caine. California State University, San Marcos, CA. and Center for the Reproduction of Endangered Species, Zoological Society of San Diego. Captive Geoffroy’s marmosets (Callithrix geoffroy) react to soaring bird models with anti-predator behaviors.
