Dr. Irwin Bernstein donates his Distinguished Primatologist Award to new Student Members

Irwin Bernstein was presented with the ASP's Distinguished Primatologist award in 2001. He has chosen to donate the $500 honorarium to provide the first 100 NEW student members of ASP for 2003 who sign up on the web site with a $5 discount on their membership dues.

In response to this generous offer, Nancy Capitanio donated her time to enhance the registration process to accomodate this donation. When new students join the ASP, they will see a $5.00 credit on their receipt, with a note about Dr. Bernstein's contribution.

As of 22 December, 6 students had received awards.
