Annual Meetings

Our annual meetings allows primatologists from the United States and worldwide to meet and discuss their latest research. Each meeting includes a mix of invited addresses by eminent primatologists, themed symposia, and the presentation of contributed papers. The meetings also provide social events for those attending.

Next Meeting

The 32nd Meeting of the American Society of Primatologists will be held in San Diego, California, from September 18 – 21, 2009. The conference will be held and the Bahia Resort Hotel, 998 West Mission Bay Drive, San Diego, CA (https://shop.evanshotels.com/am_0918b9.html).

Business meetings and the opening reception will take place on the afternoon and evening of September 18, and the closing night banquet will be on the evening of September 21, so it might be best to arrange to arrive on the morning of 9/18 and depart on 9/22.

Activities and Invited addresses for this year will include:

• Distinguished Primatologist Address
  by Dr. Leanne Nash

• Past President’s address
  by Dr. Steve Schapiro

• A featured speaker address combined with a
  meeting-wide interdisciplinary science symposium

• Statistics for Primatologists workshop on Meta-analyses

• A student luncheon workshop with more "versed" members of the society

• . . . and much, much more
