In its continuing efforts to address the concerns of graduate and undergraduate students, the ASP Education Committee is sponsoring a roundtable session which will discuss grant proposals and post-doc positions. A panel of our colleagues will present strategies for finding funding opportunities that are relevant to different types of primate research, and some tips on composing a successful proposal. We will then turn our attention to post-docs, including information on where available positions are advertised, and how to put together a quality application packet. Most of the information will come in the form of presentations, but there will be plenty of time for questions and discussion of student concerns. We encourage our non-student colleagues to attend and lend their advice.
