As graduate students seek to build their CV’s, broaden their marketability, and prepare for academic positions, the annual Student Luncheon Workshop will focus on how to teach courses in primatology. A panel of professionals will address diverse educational arenas, such as introductory level classes in primate taxonomy and behavior, advanced seminars in primatology, and field schools in ecological research. Panelists will offer brief presentations on alternative formats for different classroom settings, including text materials and appropriate assignments. Large-group Q&A will be followed by breakout sessions where participants can get further information on specific topics of interest.
